The Story of this Artwork
Hoarfrost Heights was an interesting piece that i did early into my painting journey of 2024 and it went through a few phases.
At first it was actually going to be a skyscape filled with clouds and buildings, But I ended up changing my mind a few sessions in and went for a landscape painting instead.
For the ken eyed there are a few little hidden things in this painting, tell me, can you find the dragon?
I was working on this around the same time as Prime nebula and so i wasn’t quite used to working in full color at this stage and was still falling back on a lot of my illustrating habits.
Landscapes as you can tell from the rest of my gallery are not my usual style of work but none the less I do enjoy making them occasionally. i have traveled a lot across the united states and seen many fascinating landscapes and its satisfying to sometimes let those inspirations seep into my work.
